Being present is something we all struggle with.
It is difficult to live in the moment, to remain upbeat and positive and not be unbalanced by anxiety over possible future outcomes.
We often find ourselves rooted in regret and controlled by fear of the future. This means we are never truly “here”, and makes it difficult to accept the moment and enjoy life in the now.
Meditation can help improve our mental health in this regard. It is scientifically proven to help with anxiety and depression and to promote healthy behaviors, and has also been shown to help people with insomnia and reduce blood pressure.
Mindfulness is a state developed through meditation practice and, outside of meditation practice, a state of mindfulness helps us pay greater attention to the here and now, helping us cope with difficult emotions and make better decisions (1).
Mindfulness meditation – the practice of being present – actually changes the brain so that you are less affected by negative self-chatter and outside influences (2).
Based on this hugely beneficial practice, we have developed a specific Mindfulness Meditation, so that you can cultivate a state of mindfulness and carry the benefits through into your everyday life.
About the Mindfulness Meditation Program
The Mindfulness Meditation program is a journey into presence, into fully being here in the moment.
In addition to the deeply relaxing music, the program uses Alpha frequencies to stimulate the production of Alpha brainwaves.
Alpha waves are associated with developing multidimensional awareness, peak performance states, flow, creativity, and presence.
The benefits of cultivating a state of mindfulness are broad and profound, and provide holistic healing for mind and body.
Here's what you can expect with regular practice:
- Reduced stress and anxiety.
- Deeper relationship connections.
- Increased ability to focus and study more effectively.
- Creative stimulation for new ideas and inspiration
- Feeling energized and rejuvenated.
- Improved emotional balance.
How to Use This Meditation
This program can be used as part of your daily meditation practice, or simply as an audio you listen to whenever you want to take leave from the stress of everyday life and achieve better emotional balance.
You can choose to sit on a yoga mat (in the lotus position), or in a comfortable chair or any other comfy spot.
Try to listen in a place free of distraction, so that you can really let go and allow yourself to submit to the music.
Listen for a minimum of 15 minutes per session to ensure that you benefit from the entrainment, and try to do a full 30 minutes if you can.
You can also listen while you read or do other light activities that don't involve too much moving around.
