Blissful Sleep promotes the production of delta waves; which are necessary for experiencing healthy, restorative sleep cycles. By listening up to an hour before bed, or while you drop off to sleep, you will fall asleep faster and wake up feeling more refreshed.

Product Description

Delta sleep is our deepest sleep, and most vital. It is where tissue growth and repair occurs and energy is restored.

Unfortunately, some people don't produce enough delta waves, which means that they may experience disturbed sleep, or, upon waking, they don't feel properly rested because they haven't spent enough time in the stages of deep sleep.

Naturally though, as we age, delta production decreases and we spend less time in the restorative deep sleep stages (stages 3 & 4) that effectively slow the aging process and give us more energy for the waking day.

With this in mind, we have designed Blissful Sleep to start just below the theta state (3.9 Hz), which will entrain your brain to a state of deep relaxation. At approximately 5 minutes into the track, the music begins to entrain your brain to the  low delta state (0.5 Hz), where you'll begin to feel naturally tired and want to sleep.

Regular use of Blissful Sleep at bedtime will promote better sleep and increase delta wave production, for deeper cycles of restorative sleep.

Why You Need Better Quality Sleep

The National Institutes of Health suggests adults need 7-8 hours per night, but according to data, nearly 30% of adults report an average of less than 6 hours of sleep per day. The primary reason for this lack of sleep is undoubtedly because of lifestyle, but also due to not being able to sleep properly.

  • 30 to 35% of adults have brief symptoms of insomnia.
  • 15 to 20% have a short-term insomnia disorder, which lasts less than three months.
  • 10% have a chronic insomnia disorder, which occurs at least three times per week for at least three months.

Studies by the National Sleep Foundation have shown that poor sleep can have a negative impact on your health, increasing your risk of depression and high blood pressure. It also can lower your quality of life. Common symptoms of include:

  • Fatigue
  • Inability to focus or concentrate
  • Poor memory
  • Mood disturbance
  • Daytime sleepiness
  • Low motivation or energy
  • Increased errors or accidents

How to Use Blissful Sleep

You can listen to Blissful Sleep up to 1-2-hours before bed to promote the production of delta waves for long, restful sleep. Simply slip on your headphones, close your eyes and turn out the lights. Within minutes you’ll feel deeply relaxed and start to slowly swirl and drift away.

If you want to improve your sleep naturally, listening to our binaural beats meditation music for sleep before bed, or in bed, will promote the production of delta waves in your brain and result in healthier, more restorative sleep stage cycles, particularly in stages 3 and 4, where your brain should be producing up to 50%+ delta waves.

*Note: Blissful Sleep and our Deep Sleep meditation will produce the same desired effect but have different soundscapes. We recommend experimenting with both and alternating between the two.
