About Our Deep Sleep Meditation

Our Deep Sleep meditation is designed to promote the production of delta waves and help you sleep deeper for longer. The program uses Delta wave binaural beats frequencies played underneath soothing music.

The program starts in the Theta state and winds down into the Delta state over the course of 5 minutes. It stops at 0.5 Hz, synchronizing with your brain to produce Delta waves that stimulate the onset of deep sleep.

Deep Sleep is much more than simply sleep meditation music. In addition to promoting the production of Delta waves through binaural beats stimulation, the instrumentation of the track is tuned to a frequency of 174 Hertz. This is a frequency derived from the ancient Solfeggio music scale, which is said to promote a natural anesthetic effect.

Research on Using Binaural Beats for Sleep

Several studies have explored the effects of binaural beats music on sleep. Here is a brief overview of three studies.

In one study published in the Journal of the Medical Association of Thailand, researchers found that participants who listened to binaural beats music for four weeks reported significant improvements in sleep quality compared to a control group (1)

Another study involving 24 participants (split into control and experimental groups) showed that listening to binaural beats prior to sleep can increase the time spent in the Non Rem 3 (deep sleep) stage (2).

Additionally, a study in Elite soccer players to assess sleep and post-sleep state showed an improvement in sleep quality and post-sleep state (3).

How to Use the Deep Sleep Program

We recommend that Deep Sleep should be used in tandem with good sleep hygiene practices, which include regular sleep and wake times, daily exercise, and reduced caffeine and sugar intake prior to bedtime.
